Can You Draw Your Business?

The Weekly Accelerator with Yvonne Arnold

Business Consultant to Top Agents/Teams

Hey Reader,

Let me ask you this question:

“Can you draw your business?”

Not your logo.

Not your marketing.

Your business!

If you can’t sketch out who reports to whom, who owns each responsibility, and where work flows from one person to the next, you don’t have a business operating system—you have people figuring it out as they go.

One of the first things I build with consulting clients is a visual organizational chart.

Why?

Because it forces clarity.

It answers questions like:

  • Who owns lead generation?
  • Who manages transactions?
  • Who handles marketing?
  • Who is responsible for recruiting?
  • Who approves expenses?
  • Who is accountable when something gets missed?

Here’s what surprises most people…

You don’t need a 50-person brokerage to benefit from an org chart.

A solo agent with an assistant needs one.

A husband-and-wife team needs one.

A five-agent team definitely needs one.

Even if one person wears multiple hats today, every seat should still exist on paper.

Why?

Because businesses don’t scale around people.

They scale around clearly defined roles.

Action Step

  • Take 10 minutes this week and map every role in your business—even the ones you haven’t hired yet.

Seeing the gaps on one page will quickly show you where you’re overloaded, where responsibilities overlap, and what your next strategic hire should be.

To make it easy, I created the same visual organizational chart template I use with consulting clients.

-Print it.

-Customize it.

-Use it as your blueprint.

Because when everyone knows their seat, your business runs with far less confusion—and a whole lot more accountability.
